Childcare Support
Childcare Support is a benefit provided to students in situations of economic vulnerability, with the aim of supporing their retention at the University.
To apply for this benefit, students must:
o be regularly enrolled in and attending an undergraduate program at UFSC;
o have legal custody and responsibility for a child between 0 and 6 years of age;
o be classified as being in a situation of socioeconomic vulnerability by the Social Service Coordination Office/PRAE;
o not be receiving any other type of childcare benefit; and
o be registered on the waiting lists for both the municipal childcare system and the UFSC Child Development Center (NDI).
