Language Learning Support

The Language Learning Support Program is a benefit granted to students in situations of economic vulnerability, with the aim of encouraging their retention at the University.

The program provides exemption from payment of the registration fee for online and in-person extracurricular foreign language courses offered by UFSC’s Department of Foreign Language and Literatures (DLLE).

To apply for the benefit, students must:

  • be regularly enrolled in an on-campus undergraduate program at UFSC;
  • have a PRAE registration with one of the following statuses: “Analysis Completed”, “Income Verified” or “Emergency Registration Approved”, as determined by the Student Assistance Unit of their campus;
  • not be enrolled in another extracurricular foreign language course offered by the Department of Foreign Language and Literatures during the current semester.
